- Sow the seeds directly outdoors from mid-March-April or August-September May in a well-prepared seedbed.
- Sow the seeds thinly on the soil surface and press in.
- Keep the soil consistently moist until seedlings emerge.
- Seeds will usually germinate within 7-21 days.
- Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 20-30 cm apart to allow room for growth.
- Water occasionally during prolonged dry spells until established, but avoid waterlogging.
