Tomato Saint Pierre

A classic French heirloom variety that produces bright red, beefsteak tomatoes weighing up to around 100gm. The fruits have a well-balanced flavour of sweetness and acidity, making them ideal for salads or sandwiches.

  1. Sow the seeds on moist soil and lightly cover.
  2. Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location.
  3. These are best in a heated propagator, at a constant temperature of 20-24c.
  4. Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.
  5. Once true leaves have developed, transplant the seedlings into individual pots.
  6. Pinch out the seedlings when they have 6 sets of leaves.
  7. The stem may require some support.
  8. Water regularly and feed weekly with our all-purpose plant feed.
