An heirloom Japanese non-branching variety, producing a huge cartwheel of brilliant yellow petals around chocolate centres. Single large 15-25cm (6-10in) flower heads in tones of yellow orange, with rich chocolate centres. Perfect for pollinators and when mature seeds into winter for birds.

Growing Instructions

Seeds can be started indoors 3 to 4 weeks before last spring frost. Or direct-sow seeds outside after all danger of frost has passed to a depth of 1/4 inch. Can be sown as late as 100 days before last frost.
