Perlite Horticultural 2-5Mm is the ideal material to prevent growing mediums becoming compacted & waterlogged by maintaining  good drainage, soil aeration and aiding in moisture retention.  It is widely used when taking cuttings and transplanting seedlings to grow on.   Use in replacement of grit, especially as it is a fraction of the weight.

• Mix with growing medium up to 40% of total content depending on the level of drainage required.
