Cultivation Advice – Onion – Tokyo Long White Spring

1. Sow thinly in shallow drills which are 10cm apart.
2. If sowing before mid-April, sow into cold frames or under cloches.
3. Water as necessary. The seeds should germinate between 10-14 days.
4. As the seedlings grow, thin them to 5cm apart.
5. Regularly weed and water the area as needed.
6. Harvest from when the plants are 30cm+.
7. For successional sowing, re-sow every 3 weeks.
