Gypsophila Elegans Covent Garden – Growing Instructions

1. Sow the seeds into finely raked soil and cover lightly as light aids their germination.
2. The seeds will germinate in 7-14 days.
3. Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, thin them to a spacing of 25-40cm apart.
4. When the seedlings have formed 2-3 pairs of leaves, pinch out the tips.
5. Alternatively, sow inside from February.
6. Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
7. Then plant out once the risk of frost has passed.
