Vegetable Endive
A cut and come again endive from the Rome area. Thin serrated dark green leaves with classic endive taste and texture. Plant grows in a small upright bunch which is easy to harvest.

Planting Depth: 6mm
Plant Spacing: 20cm
Light: Full Sun
Sow direct outside anytime in early summer in drills 6mm deep and 20cm apart or indoors between April-June.
Thin out when large enough to handle to 10cm (4in) apart.
Make successive plantings every 3 weeks for a continuous supply.
To harvest first pull up every other plant and then pick a few of the outer leaves from the remaining plants.
