Cultivation Advice Cineraria Silver Dust
- Best sown late winter to early spring under cover with warmth provided (15-24C) for germination.
- Seed should be surface sown and press down lightly not covered as the seeds need light to germinate.
- On the Can be seal in a clear polythene bag after sowing to maintain moisture and avoid drying out.
- Germination averages 10-21 days, depending on temperature.
- When large enough to handle prick out to trays and grow on under cooler conditions.
- Slowly acclimatise plants to outdoor weather for 1-14 days prior to planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
- Plant to a sunny spot on well drained soil 15-20 cm apart.
