- Sow indoors from February to March.
- Cover seeds lightly, about 1-2 mm deep, in a fine, well-drained seed compost.
- Place in a heated propagator at 18-20c.
- Seeds usually take 14-28 days to germinate.
- When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots.
- Harden off and plant outdoors from March to July in a sunny position with well-drained soil, 25cm apart.
- Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged summer flowering.
