Tomato Cherry Lizzano F1
Tomato Cherry Lizzano F1 is one of the first late blight tolerant cherry fruited semi-determinate varieties available. It is a vigorous semi-determinate variety with a low growing, trailing habit excellent for growing in patio containers or hanging baskets with a spread of 50cm. The yields are high producing 25mm 11-12 gram bright red cherry fruits for continuous harvesting over a long period.
Cultivation Advice Tomato Cherry Lizzano F1
- Sow under cover with warmth provided in spring 1/16 inch deep in fine seed compost and cover lightly with vermiculite.
 - Germination takes around 6-14 days at 65-75F.
 - Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 3 inch pots.
 - Grow on under cooler conditions and plant to container or basket when large enough to handle.
 - Best kept growing under cover until the weather warms before gradually acclimatising them to outdoor conditions.
 - The plants will readily trail.
 - In baskets the plants are thirsty and require regular watering and feeding.
