An Italian Heirloom cultivar of butternut squash, producing cylindrical shaped fruits around 4 kg each with a textured / ribbed hard skin. The flavour is sweet and nutty, perfect for use as per standard butternut types but far more interesting in looks and flavour. Stores well into winter.
