Snowdrop Single

Galanthus nivalis, commonly known as the snowdrop, is a charming perennial bulb that heralds the arrival of spring with its delicate, nodding white flowers. The flowers consist of six petal-like tepals, with the inner segments often adorned with distinctive green markings at their tips.

Snowdrop Single – Cultivation Advice

Plant between October-November, before the ground freezes.
Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is double the depth of the bulb.
Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
