Ranunculus Picotee Pink, often referred to as the Persian Buttercup, is a stunning flowering bulb known for its exquisite blooms. These flowers also serve as excellent cut flowers, with a vase life of up to two weeks and a delightful fragrance.

Ranunculus Picotee Pink – Cultivation Advice

  1. Plant between September-December in mild areas.
  2. Alternatively, plant in late winter or early spring, when the temperature warms up.
  3. The corms will be dormant when they arrive, store them in a cool, dry place until they are ready to plant.
  4. Soak the corms for 3-4 hours in cool or room temperature water.
  5. Optional – Pre-sprout the corms to give them a head-start.
    1. Place the soaked corms on top of the soil, with the claws pointing down and lightly cover.
    2. Keep in a cool location between 4-10c for around 10-14 days.
  6. Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is 6-10cm deep.
  7. Place the bulb with the claws facing downwards.
  8. Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
