- Sow sparingly as these are larger than standard Radishes, often and little from the last frost until winter for a continuous crop all summer.
- These will harvest well into winter from a late autumn sowing.

This Chinese winter radish was introduced to Europe by Jesuit missionaries in 1850. Long 6-8 inch x 2 inch. Tapering radish with carmine-rose coloured skin and crisp pungent flesh are produced from Mid-summer through to early winter. With any remaining radish storing well in sand late into winter. Seeds are excellent for sprouting.
Can be planted in the spring for summer eating or planted in the fall for storage. The young leaves can also be used in salads or for stir-frying. Keeps well. 55 days from germination.
