- Start the seeds indoors, in deep pots or root trainers.
- Sow the seeds at a depth of 40-50mm and place them at a temperature of 13-18c.
- Germination should occur between 7-10 days.
- Gradually acclimatise the seedlings once two sets of true leaves have been developed.
- Alternatively, directly sow outdoors in drills between March-June.
- As the seedlings grow, thin them to 10cm apart.
- Regularly weed and water the area as needed.
- The stem may require some support.
- Harvest when the pods begin to swell.
- To promote continued cropping, be sure to harvest regularly.
