  1. Sow the seeds between March and April or September-November.
  2. Optional – soak the seeds for 24-48 hours in warm water.
  3. Prepare a sunny, well-drained site and loosen the soil before sowing.
  4. Scatter the seeds evenly over the soil surface and lightly rake them in.
  5. Water gently to settle the seeds in, keeping the soil moist until germination.
  6. The seeds will germinate in 10-21 days depending on soil temperature.
  7. Thin seedlings as required.
  8. Cut back after flowering to promote a second flush of growth.
