- Start the seeds indoors any time of the year.
- Soak the seeds in warm water for 20-30 minutes before sowing.
- Sow the seeds on the surface of well‑drained, moist seed compost and press them in lightly.
- Place the tray in a heated propagator at around 18-21c.
- Don’t exclude light during germination and cover only to retain humidity.
- Expect seedlings to appear in about 21-40 days.
- Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual small pots.
- Keep plants warm and sheltered, not exposing them to temperatures below 16c.
- Best grown in a house, conservatory or greenhouse.
- Feed with a tomato liquid feed during the growing season.
- Mist the leaves and water as needed.
