Hot Pepper ‘Bhut Jolokia Red’

Recognised as the world’s hottest chilli pepper by a large margin, Bhut Jolokia fruits turn from green to a vivid scarlet red when fully mature.

Originating and extensively cultivated in North-eastern India heat is variable according to its growing conditions, plants grown in dry, cooler conditions will be less hot than those grown in wetter, hotter conditions.

This variety is best for the experienced grower only and requires patience. All our Jolokia seeds are imported directly from the leading producer in Assam India.
