Herb Lovage Levisticum Officinale. Lovage is a vigorous, hardy perennial herb which can grow up to 6 feet in height with large leaves and slightly greenish yellow flowers similar in appearance and flavour to celery.   All of the plant can be used in cooking, excellent added to vegetable and meat dishes, soups and stews and as a bath herb.
Cultivation Advice Herb Lovage Levisticum Officinale
- Sow in pots 1/2in deep from late March onwards undercover with warmth or directly into the final growing position after the last frost.
- Seedlings can be transplanted.
- For fully mature plants the spacing should be 18-24 In.
- Requires a good moist soil in a sunny position.
