Gypsophila Single Alba is a stunning popular perennial variety. The best known for its place in flower arrangements. Lovely as a border plant in masses or individually, bearing many tiny single white flowers on feathery foliage to 3 feet all summer. Can be cut as an everlasting if cut before fully opened.
Cultivation Advice Gypsophila Single Alba
- Sow from early spring through to summer, initially under cover with warmth, thinly in trays with a fine dusting of vermiculite.
- Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions planting out when 3-4 inches high.
- Thrives in full sun and well drained soils.
- Flower from Early Summer through Mid Summer and dies back over-winter. In harsh winters mulch after the first frost.
