Growing Instructions
- Best sown/ Apr to Jun (no advantage to starting early as these are tender)
- These do come from warmer climes therefore germination temp needs to be above 70F (21C) for good germination. Germination can be slow 10-25 days.
- Sow in individual pots 1 inch (3 cm deep in a well-drained seed compost, excessive moisture or low temps will cause them to rot.
- Gradually harden off seedlings before planting outside after all danger of frost has passed (can be grown successfully under glass).
- The plants will need a support to climb and regular watering during hot dry weather.
