Digitalis purpurea (Foxglove) Alba

CAUTION: All parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested.

• For flowering in the same season sow in very early spring in good free draining seed compost, just covering the seed with compost.
• Germination usually takes 10-21 days at 13-15C (55-60F).
• When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into boxes, grow cool and finally plant out 30cm (12in) apart in sun or part shade in free draining soil.
• For the following season sow in late spring/early summer outdoors 1.5mm (1/8in) deep in well prepared seed bed. Transplanted when large enough to final flowering position.
