Daffodil Great Leap – Cultivation Advice
- Plant between September-November, before the ground freezes.
- Loosen the soil to a depth of around 20cm and mix in organic matter to improve the drainage and soil quality.
- Use a hand trowel or bulb planter and dig a hole which is around 2-3 times the depth of the bulb.
- Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
(If not planted immediately, open bag and spread somewhere cool and dry to prevent the bulbs sweating and rotting)

• Choose a location that receives full sun, ideally at least six hours of direct sunlight daily.
• After flowering, deadhead spent blooms to redirect energy back into the bulb.
• Allow foliage to die back naturally before removing it to help replenish nutrients for next year’s growth.
• The clumps will multiply and expand each year.
