Amaryllis Apple Blossom

Amaryllis ‘Apple Blossom’ is a beautiful indoor forcing bulb that produces large, trumpet-shaped flowers with soft pink petals edged in white. Blooming 6–8 weeks after planting, it reaches a height of around 60 cm, making it perfect for brightening indoor spaces during winter and around Christmas. Remember to cut the stem after the first flowering to encourage the bulb to flower again.

Growing Instructions

Plant from October onwards, throughout winter
For Christmas blooms, plant by October
Use a pot with drainage holes which is around 10-15cm deep
Place the bulbs with half of the bulb just above the compost surface
Water only if the compost dries out
Avoid placing near direct heat sourced to extend flowering

Mature Height: 45-60cm
Mature Spread: 20-30cm
Planting Depth: Half the bulb planted (so it is still exposed)
Light: Full sun or partial shade
Flowering Time: 6-8 weeks after sowing
