- Sow seeds indoors between February-April indoors.
- Place 0.5cm deep and lightly cover with compost.
- Place somewhere warm and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
- Once germinated, grow in in cooler conditions.
- Gradually acclimatise the seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting out, after the risk of frost has passed.
- Protect young seedlings from slugs and snails, especially during early growth.
- Water as needed until the plants are established.
African Marigold (Tagetes erecta) ‘Kilimanjaro’ produces large, creamy-white double blooms on strong, upright stems. It brings bright, long-lasting colour to borders or makes an excellent cut flower.
