Vegetables to sow in February

February, although still cold, is an exciting time in the garden!

Ideal for preparation ahead of the growing season, take some time to plan your vegetable patch and work out what you are going to grow this season, we always like to try something new alongside our old favourites.

With daylight hours increasing by the middle of the month there are plenty of slow growing or early varieties that you will want to start sowing undercover ready  for transplanting over the next couple of months.

Our priorities include Broad Beans and Tomatoes which can both begin germinating indoors this month. Onions and Spinach, dependent on variety, can be sown outside, undercover.
