Sowing and Growing

1. Sow direct where they will grow and flower. They do not like to be moved.
2. Sow thinly in shallow drills 30cm apart into well raked soil.
3. Water regularly.
4. You can also sow the seed in autumn for early flowering the next year and overwinter in a greenhouse or conservatory.

The California poppy loves to be in full sun. Keep cutting them and they will produce more flowers.

Arranging

Pick early in the morning straight into water. These are lovely simply arranged in a vintage glass.
