A delicate yet heart-stopping mix of dark and seashell pinks. The large papery petals have etched rims, floating on medium height, bright green stems. All the best colours to sow in a drift for a river of delight.
Remember to sear the stems of the poppies once you have cut them, to help them last longer in the vase. You can do this by dipping the stems in just-boiled water for five seconds.
Sowing and Growing
Easy to grow. Keep cutting and the poppies will produce more flowers. Will self-sow.
Arranging
You can mix these with other flowers, but I love showing them off on their own. Remember to sear the stems in boiling water directly after cutting.
