- Sow seeds in March-early April.
- Sow seeds 0.5–1cm deep.
- Keep the soil consistently moist and maintain a temperature of 18–22c for germination.
- Seeds should germinate in 7–14 days.
- Transplant seedlings into individual pots once they have 2-3 true leaves.
- Harden off young plants before transplanting undercover or outdoors in May.
- Support plants as they grow.
- Remove leaves below the bottom truss to help with ventilation.
- Harvest fruits from July to September when fully coloured and firm.
