‘Burlesque’ is our new superstar-gorgeous, juicy and prolific. Lovingly bred by Burpee, these large, round vibrant, pure-red 280-350 g fruits entice with heirloom aromatics and tangy tomato sweetness. Ripening from early August, the large fruits are produced in clusters of three to four per truss.

‘Burlesque’ tomatoes are easy to pick and show no cracking. Excellent blight resistance makes this useful beefsteak for outdoor growing in central and southern Europe.

Cultivation Advice
Key Facts

Sow in early spring 1/16 inch deep. Germination takes around 6-14 days at 65-75F.
Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into 3-inch pots. Grow on under cooler conditions and when about 8 inches tall, position in the greenhouse and plant out 24-36 inches apart.
Provide support and tie in regularly. Remove side shoots and restrict the plant to one main stem. In late summer remove the growing tip to hasten ripening.
