Tomato ‘Akoya’ F1

Tomato ‘Akoya F1’ is a high-yielding variety which produces striking fruits with a unique colour progression, ripening from green to black and finally to orange. The cocktail-sized fruits weigh 20-30gm each and are known for their rich flavour. The plant features purple-green foliage and show good tolerance to late blight.

  1. Sow the seeds on moist soil and lightly cover.
  2. Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location.
  3. These are best in a heated propagator, at a constant temperature of 20-24c.
  4. Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.
  5. Once true leaves have developed, transplant the seedlings into individual pots.
  6. Water regularly and feed weekly with our all-purpose plant feed.
