- Sow seeds from May to mid-June in deep pots or modules.
- Place one seed per pot about 5 cm deep.
- Water and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
- Gradually harden off the seedlings after the risk of frost has passed.
- Then transplant outdoors from June to mid-July.
- Space plants 25-30 cm apart with 45 cm between rows, providing tall supports or canes for climbing.
- Protect young plants from pests.
- Water regularly, especially during flowering and pod formation.
- Harvest regularly from late July to October when pods are young and tender.
