Cabbage ‘Wong Bok’ produces barrel-shaped heads with crisp, light green leaves and prominent white ribs. It delivers tender, flavourful leaves perfect for stir-fries, steaming, or salads. This versatile cabbage is ideal for consistent, high-quality harvests.

  1. Sow seeds in the second half of July in modules or trays undercover. 
  2. Sow 1cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover. 
  3. Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 7–10 days. 
  4. Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions. 
  5. Transplant outdoors by mid-August, spacing plants 35-40 cm apart in rows 45cm apart. 
  6. Harvest from October to November when heads are barrel-shaped, crisp, and tightly formed.
