Growing Instructions
- Sow indoors onto the surface of seed compost.
- Lightly press into the soil but don’t cover as light is needed for germination.
- Place in a propagator at 18-20c.
- Germination can be erratic and can take between 14-21 days to germinate.
- Thin and transplant the seedlings when they’re large enough to handle to 15cm pots.
- Gradually acclimatise to outside conditions after the risk of frost has passed.
- Can be invaisive to restrict root run.
- Pinch out the tips to encourage the plant to become bushier.
- Water as needed in dry conditions.
- Cut back regularly to encourage new growth and prevent flowering.
- Before winter, cut back to ground level. Divide plants every 3 years.
