Cultivation Advice
Key Facts

Sow directly from June-August, 10mm deep in rows spaced 30cm apart.
Germination takes 7-14 days in cool conditions.
When seedlings are large enough, thin to 15cm between plants.
Water regularly to prevent the bulbs becoming woody.
Keep the bed weed-free.
Harvest when the stems reach 5-8cm across for the best flavour and texture.
Can be left in the ground until December. Harvest as needed as they don’t store well.
