Herb Wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium)

£1.29

Wormwood is a traditional medicinal herb once used for cuts, bruises, digestion, fever, infections, and as a natural insect repellent.

This semi-woody sub-shrub has striking silver-grey, aromatic foliage and grows to about 3 ft tall and 2 ft wide, with small yellow flowers that complement brighter plants.

It’s also used to flavour spirits like absinthe and vermouth. Use with care, as it can be toxic in large quantities, though its bitter taste helps limit overuse.
