- Sow the seeds in individual pots, at a depth of 10-20mm.
- Place between 3-4 seeds per pot and later thin to the strongest seedling per clump.
- Place in a heated propagator, at a constant temperature of 20-25c.
- Water as necessary and the seeds should germinate between 7-14 days.
- When the plants are around 10cm, transplant them to the final growing position.
- Make sure to transplant no later than 3 weeks after germination as the main root (tap root) can be easily damaged.
- The stem may require some support.
- Water regularly and feed every 7-14 days with an all-purpose plant feed.
- Inconsistent watering can cause the fruits to be mis-shaped or poor tasting.
- Harvest regularly to keep the plant producing.
