- Sow seeds from March to June in modules or trays undercover.
- Sow 1cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
- Keep soil consistently moist; seeds should germinate in 7–14 days.
- Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions.
- Transplant outdoors from April to July.
- Space plants 40-50cm apart in rows 50-60cm apart.
- Harvest from late June to November when curds are firm and fully formed.
