- Sow seeds from late May to June in modules or trays undercover.
- Sow 1cm deep and lightly cover.
- Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
- Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions.
- Transplant outdoors from June to early July (around 10th July).
- Space plants 40–50cm apart in rows 50–60cm apart.
- Harvest from September to November when heads are firm, well-shaped, and fully developed.
