- Sow the seeds in a propagator and cover with approximately 6mm of compost.
- Place in a warm, bright position such as a windowsill at 18-21c.
- Seeds will germinate in 10-14 days.
- When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots and grow on in a warm, light position.
- After the last frost, plant out in well-prepared soil enriched with manure from the previous autumn.
- Space plants 60cm apart or grow in large containers filled with good-quality compost.
