- Sow seeds from May to June in modules or trays undercover.
- Sow 1cm deep and lightly cover.
- Keep soil moist and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
- Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, maintaining bright, cool conditions.
- Transplant outdoors from June to July, spacing plants 40-50cm apart.
- Harvest from February to April when spears are firm and before the florets begin to open.
