- Sow the seeds outdoors between March-April for flowering the same year.
- Alternatively, sow June-September for flowering the following season.
- Sow the seeds thinly on the soil surface and lightly cover with a thin layer of soil.
- Water gently to settle the seeds and keep the soil moist until germination.
- The seeds will germinate in 10-20 days depending on soil temperature.
- When large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots.
- Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
- Plant out once the risk of frost has passed at 60cm apart.
