Tulip ‘Helmar’ is a Rembrandt-style Triumph variety that produces bold yellow flowers with deep red flames. It pairs beautifully with solid red, yellow or dark-flowering tulips in borders, containers and cut flower arrangements.

Plant between October-November, before the ground freezes.
Choose a position in full sun with well-drained soil.
If the soil is heavy, loosen it to a depth of around 20cm.
Mix in organic matter to improve drainage and soil quality.
Add a handful of grit or coarse sand to the planting hole to aid drainage.
Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.
Gently cover the bulb and lightly compress the soil.
If the soil is very dry, water lightly after planting.
Don’t water again until spring unless the weather is warm and dry.
Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
