Large flowering, with a broad mix of colours, both single / Bi double scented blossoms are produced on 18 inch erect stems. Blooms the year after planting, in mid-spring to mid-summer. - Sow seeds sparingly in trays or directly outdoors from late spring to autumn for blooms the following year. Cover with 1/8 to 1/4-inch fine soil and firm down.
- Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
- When seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to trays and grow on or if planted directly outside at 2 inches high thin to 8 to 10 inches apart.
- Plant in full sun or partial shade.
- Prefers a somewhat moist cool climate.
- Remove dead flowers to encourage second blooming.
- Will readily reseed itself, if allowed.
