A splendid reliable main crop mid-late crisp carrot, producing large, long, conical roots with an even internal colour. Its excellent flavour and storage characteristics make this one of the most popular and widely grown main crop varieties attaining huge sizes if left to fully mature. It is also known as “Flakkee” in European markets.  This carrot grows particularly well in an open position on light, rich soil that has not been recently manured. 68 days from germination.

Seed tapes are the easiest way to sow vegetables, the seeds have been incorporated in a bio-degradable paper tape which ensures the correct spacing and minimises the need for thinning.  The seeds simply germinate through the tape in position.
