- Sow the seeds on the surface of a fine seed compost and lightly cover.
- Place in a heated propagator at a constant temperature of 21-24c.
- Make sure the propagator is placed somewhere bright as light aids germination.
- The seeds will germinate in 7-10 days.
- If the minimum temperature is not met, the germination will be low and sporadic.
- Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, transplant into individual pots.
- Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
- Plant out once the risk of frost has passed.
