- Sow seeds from late January to mid-March in modules or small pots undercover.
- Sow 0.5–1 cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
- Maintain a temperature of 20-25c.
- The seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
- Pot on seedlings when they have at least two pairs of leaves.
- Keep the seedlings in warm, bright conditions.
- Transplant to their final position between May to early June when they’re 10-12cm.
- Plant in individual pots or space 40-45 cm apart.
- Water when needed and feed when flowering.
- Harvest from August to October when fruits turn bright orange and develop their full colour.
