- Sow directly outside between March-August in prepared soil.
- Sow the seeds 1.5cm deep in shallow rows and lightly cover.
- Water as needed and germinate will occur in 7-14 days depending on temperature.
- Thin to 5cm apart when large enough to handle. Use the leaves when thinning for baby leaves
- Water regularly to prevent the plants from bolting.
- Harvest the leaves regularly by picking a few leaves from each plant.
- From sowing, harvest baby leaves in around 20 days.
- Sow every 4 weeks for a continuous supply of fresh lettuce.
