French Marigold (Tagetes erecta) Petite Mix

A lovely dwarf edging crested variety of marigold in vibrant blooms of bright yellow, orange, and red. This mix produces an abundance of double flowers throughout the season which are perfect for adding colour to beds, borders, and containers. These are petite 8 inch plants with mounded habits.

  1. Sow seeds indoors between February-April indoors.
  2. Place 0.5cm deep and lightly cover with compost.
  3. Place somewhere warm and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
  4. Once germinated, grow in in cooler conditions.
  5. Gradually acclimatise the seedlings to outdoor conditions before planting out, after the risk of frost has passed.
  6. Protect young seedlings from slugs and snails, especially during early growth.
  7. Water as needed until the plants are established.
