Dry Ground Meadow Mix is specially designed for well-drained, dry conditions, combining an equal mix of annuals and perennials for a resilient, low-maintenance display. Once established, it can be enjoyed for 2 to 4 years, evolving and changing over time. Best sown in autumn or early spring, this mix brings colour and interest to challenging, dry areas of your garden or allotment.

This annual mix contains: Achillea millefolium, Anthemis tinctoria, Kelwayi Calendula officinalis, Centaurea spp, Coreopsis lanceolata, Echium plantagineum, Eschscholzia californica, Layia platyglossa, Linum spp, Lobularia maritima, ‘Benthamii’, Nigella damascena, Papaver rhoeas, Rudbeckia hirta, Saponaria spp, Nepeta mussinii, Oenothera lamarckiana, Thymus vulgaris. 

  1. Shake or pour into a container andmix in vermiculite untilit’s evenly mixed. 
  2. Prepare the soil by removing any weeds and stones
  3. Rake and level the soil. Make sure you break up any large clods of earth 
  4. Distribute the seed evenly over the soil 
  5. Rake lightly again to ensure the seed has a good contact with soil
  6. Water well but lightly with a hose or watering can
  7. Keep moist and water daily during hot or very dry weather.

Flowering period: April to September

Height: 40-60cm

30 grams of seed will cover 8sq metres

This mix includes many varieties and is best sown evenly to allow the flowers to grow and flourish.

Vermiculite is a naturally occurring mineral that is mined from the earth. It will break down naturally in the soil and will not be visible once the flowers begin to grow.
